The city of Gaeta lights up during the “Fairy tales of light” event. This year, in addition to the more traditional illuminations, the projection scenes by PROIETTA animated the facades of the main squares of the city with dedicated themes. The protagonists of this installation have been the new THOROK Led projectors that allowed to keep consumption low despite the extension of the surfaces to be illuminated.
Two video mappings have been installed respectively on the imposing tower of the municipality and in the small historic village.
The tower came to life as “Tic Toc”, a grotesque character who literally made the building speak, while the little elf Mimino at his base, seated on a pile of Christmas gifts, conversed with the monumental companion of adventures.
The history of the little block of Gaeta was instead narrated in the small square dedicated to Goliarda Sapienza. Local characters, traditions and popular stories have alternated, interrupted by a curious pause with a Santa Claus who appears and disappears in different virtual rooms. PROIETTA takes care not only of the graphic and technical aspect of the video mapping show, but also of the revision, conception, writing and dubbing of texts and creative content of the shows.
Both Gaeta video mappings have been installed outdoors thanks to the climate controlled cases that protect the projectors from bad weather and theft.
